Here is a fun toy that lets you watch what a Python program is doing in real time. If you like old computers, it may also make you nostalgic. Blinkenlights is a small wxPython application that flashes a light for each Python module loaded in a Python process.

Tanner is really fascinated with lights. Maybe I am too. And maybe there is even a use for this toy.

It is most thoroughly tested in Linux, but it also ran successfully in Wine. You need wxPython 2.5.2 or newer.
