/ Hathaway Weblog / Computer Associates is using Ape |
From Computer Associates [1]: "Working with Zope Corporation and others in the Python/Zope community, Computer Associates is integrating APE with Ingres to provide a high-performance, persistent data storage facility for Zope-based content management systems."
Here is my part: "The project has extended APE so that Plone-based systems can now also use APE for alternative storage.". The CVS head [2] has all the work I did. I think it's ready to release as version 1.0.

Shane,
we have been using your Ape product, and we can't wait to install version 1.0!
APE is a GREAT product for Zope.
Thank you very much, Shane, for your irreplaceable contributions to the Zope community

Now that I finally understand how APE works (as a bridge between OO and relational data models), I really see it as an invaluable tool for the Zope community. Also, I think that it's really going to help make Zope more popular with large organizations.
I second the sentiments of the previous poster. Thanks for all of the hard work!
When do you think that APE 1.0 will be available?
