Shane :: Free Software :: June 19, 2004 # Keep the Spirit, Brazil!

When I attended FISL a few years ago, I realized that Brazil is leading the world in free software adoption. I'm quite excited for them. There are a lot of leaders in Brazil who have embraced software freedom, a concept that is very distinct from price.

The Brazilian software developers I've met are top notch. If free software produces more developers like them, the U.S. may have to start playing catch-up!
