DBTab Product

DBTab is integrated into Zope 2.7 and above. The product downloadable from this page is for Zope 2.6.

This Zope product lets you set up databases for your Zope site using a fairly simple configuration file. It serves a purpose similar to the "fstab" file in most Unix systems. It even lets you mount multiple databases.

Place the DBTab product in your Products directory, symlink or copy Products/DBTab/custom_zodb.py into your INSTANCE_HOME or the root of the Zope software, and copy "dbtab.conf.in" to your INSTANCE_HOME or the root of the Zope software, calling it "dbtab.conf". Then edit dbtab.conf, which has documentation in comments.

This product is designed for Zope 2.6. It is in production use.
